Community Involvement
Charlene believes it is important to help raise the next generation of female leaders. Not only does she mentor young female financial representatives within Northwestern Mutual, she acts as the President and sits on the board of The Rock n Roll Camp for Girls.
In honor of her mother's struggle with Parkinson's Disease, Charlene has facilitated a support group for Parkinson's patients and their care-partners for Parkinson's Resources of Oregon for the last nine years. In addition to that, she sits on the board for the Brian Grant Foundation, started by the former Portland Blazer who was diagnosed with early onset PD at age 36.
